For all who want to spend a day far from crowds, in the peace of untouched mountain nature, we suggest a full-day trip to Northern Velebit NP. It starts in Krasno village, where the Velebit House interpretation center provides an interesting introduction to the mountain world through interactive content. This is followed by a drive to Zavižan, Croatia's highest meteorological station, from where walks to peaks and the botanical garden with over 300 plant species begin. A special experience is offered by Premužić Trail, which leads through the heart of the mountain without major ascents and offers unforgettable views towards the sea and Lika.
